Obs:

In estimating the survey results, the usual resident population is used.
Information is presented without the data on districts from the left side of the river Nistru and municipality Bender.
In 2019 - 2024, Labour force survey (LFS) was carried out according to a survey plan the Multifunctional Master Sample for Social Domain Surveys (EMDOS 2), developed based on the results of the 2014 Population and Housing Census (PHC) and in line with the revised definition of employment.
The LFS survey in 2025 underwent several modifications/adjustments, including: (i) the implementation of the Master Sample for Social Surveys (EMDOS 3); (ii) the use of the usually resident population, recalculated based on the results of the 2024 Population and Housing Census (RPL 2024), for expansion factors and relative indicators of the LFS; and (iii) adjustments to the LFS methodology (approved by NBS Order No. 84/2024, as amended by Order No. 66/2025 (para. 3.54)), which caused a break in the time series. Therefore, the LFS data for 2025 are not fully comparable with the corresponding data from previous years, which should be taken into account in longitudinal analyses.
