For the period 1940-1996 the information is presented in total in the country.
For the period 1997-2013 the information includes some records from the left side of the river Nistru and Bender municipality.
Beginning with 2014 the information is presented without the population data for the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Dniester River, the municipality of Bender (including the village of Proteagailovca), the commune of Chitcani (including the villages of Merenesti and Zahorna), the villages of Cremenciug and Gisca in Causeni District, the commune of Corjova (including the village of Mahala) in Dubasari District, as well as the village of Roghi within the commune of Molovata Noua, Dubasari District.
For the period 1940-2013 the data were calculated based on date of the registration.
Beginning with 2014 the date were calculated based on the date of the event, the number of live births includes the number of transcribed birth documents.
Transcription of civil status documents is a procedure for recognizing the civil status documents of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, registered by the competent bodies from abroad.
