The ratio of children enrolled in the first grade who attended preschool education programs

Data for 2002-2006 were calculated by the Ministry of Education, beginning with 2009 by NBS, correspondingly data are not comparable.

Literacy rate

For 2004 and 2014 the data source are the Population Censuses. Beginning with 2005, the data source is Labour Force Survey (LFS).
Population Census includes all pesons aged 15 years and over who can write and read, LFS data includes persons aged 15-24 years who completed at least primary education.
